  • Ensure all compensation and organizational reviews are deeply grounded in practical business context
  • Conduct an end-to-end audit of the current Sales Compensation Plan, assessing its design mechanics, formulas, and eligibility criteria
  • Trace plan administration processes through relevant systems to identify administrative, legal, and operational vulnerabilities
  • Uncover pain points and collect qualitative feedback from HR, Finance, and Sales Leadership
  • Surface concrete observations and pitch future considerations to maximize ROI on incentive spend
  • Review the active implementation timeline of the internal incentive compensation system, auditing contract terms, vendor SLAs, and project milestones

  • Establish, maintain, and update a strict Red/Yellow/Green (RAG) project status tracker to present regularly to executive stakeholders
  • Evaluate current team capabilities relative to evolving commercial strategies

Skills

  • 8+ years of progressive HR or Sales Operations experience, with significant exposure to commercial teams and complex enterprise sales environments
  • Proven track record in sales compensation plan design, variable modeling, plan mechanics, or compensation consulting
  • Direct experience working with, implementing, or evaluating enterprise Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) platforms (e.g., Xactly, Anaplan, Varicent, CaptivateIQ) is highly preferred
  • Prior experience in an advisory, management consulting, or corporate strategy capacity is heavily prioritized
  • Outstanding capability to build trust, establish immediate credibility, and drive project outcomes across cross-functional matrixed environments without formal authority
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to summarize technical data, system SLAs, or compensation math into clear, compelling C-suite presentations
  • Exposure to AI workflows, data platforms, or modern enterprise data governance frameworks is a strong plus
