[Remote] National Account Manager

The National Account Manager role involves maintaining and expanding relationships with key customer groups while achieving sales quotas and strategic objectives, ensuring a positive customer experience, and collaborating with internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain business relationships with key decision makers and act as a primary point of contact to achieve sales quotas and strategic objectives with assigned customers, prioritizing proactive partners as defined and updated in our strategy as appropriate
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key contacts at major manufacturer partners
  • Proactively explore strategies and tactics to further integrate with the customers and leverage the full suite of Vetsource solutions
  • Represent Vetsource in a professional manner that results in a positive customer experience
  • Regularly meet with customers to ensure needs are being met and issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and build positive working relationships with internal partners to ensure positive partner experiences and successful delivery of client products/services, including the coordination of key manufacturer meetings requesting Category Management support as needed
  • Remain up to date on industry trends to strategize with partners

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience/training
  • 5+ years of experience in direct B2B sales within the animal health industry or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with veterinary groups and manufacturers
  • Demonstrated success in building, managing, and strengthening long-term customer and partner relationships
  • Proficient in using CRM software (Salesforce preferred) to manage pipelines, track account activity, and generate insights
  • Reliable internet access
  • Sitting/standing at a desk working on a computer for long periods of time
  • Up to 30% travel required
