Position Overview

The Senior Remote Customer Service Chat Representative role is a pivotal position within arenaflex’s Digital Operations Chat division. You will serve as a trusted advisor to members and health‑care providers, handling a wide range of inquiries—from prior‑authorization status to benefit coverage explanations—across multiple product lines. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide real‑time, empathetic assistance to members and health‑care providers via the arenaflex chat platform, handling up to two concurrent conversations while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
  • Explain complex benefit details, including medical, dental, pharmacy, and digital health services, ensuring customers understand coverage, claim status, and eligibility.
  • Assist with prior‑authorization inquiries, claim investigations, and benefit verification for both office‑based and hospital‑based procedures.
  • Educate members on disease‑management programs, wellness initiatives, and healthy‑living resources, offering personalized recommendations that align with individual health goals.
  • Own each interaction from start to finish, striving for first‑contact resolution to reduce transfers, wait times, and overall friction.
  • Document all chat interactions accurately in arenaflex’s CRM system, adhering to compliance standards and data‑privacy regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including claims, underwriting, and IT—to resolve escalated issues and continuously improve service processes.

Essential Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in a call‑center or customer‑service environment, preferably within health‑care, insurance, or related fields.
