Why arenaflex?

arenaflex is a leading national retailer and health‑care provider, operating thousands of stores across the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. With a mission to improve the health and well‑being of the communities we serve, arenaflex blends cutting‑edge technology with compassionate, in‑person service. Our omnichannel approach means customers can shop, refill prescriptions, and access health services wherever they are—online, on the phone, or in a store. As a remote employee, you become an integral part of this ecosystem, helping patients receive the medication and care they need, all from the comfort of your own home.

Position Overview

arenaflex is seeking a detail‑oriented, customer‑focused Remote Data Entry Specialist to join our growing call‑center team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and prescribers, handling high‑volume inquiries, entering prescription and enrollment data, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and internal policies. This is a full‑time, work‑from‑home opportunity based in Orlando, USA, with a competitive hourly rate ranging from $25 to $35.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter patient enrollment information, prescription details, and medication orders into arenaflex’s proprietary pharmacy system.
  • Process inbound calls, messages, and chat inquiries from patients, caregivers, and prescribers, providing clear, courteous, and timely assistance.
  • Verify and resolve “outside oddities” (data discrepancies) by gathering missing information, correcting errors, and resubmitting records for approval.
  • Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations while handling protected health information (PHI).
  • Assist pharmacy technicians both on‑site and remotely, escalating complex issues to senior staff when necessary.
  • Document all interactions in the customer relationship management (CRM) system, ensuring a complete audit trail.
  • Achieve and maintain a dynamic specialist certification within the first 90 days and retain it throughout employment.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including pharmacy, compliance, and IT—to continuously improve data‑entry workflows.
  • Participate in regular training sessions, quality‑assurance reviews, and performance‑feedback meetings.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Basic computer proficiency: ability to start/shut down a PC, use a mouse, open/close applications, save and print documents, and navigate the internet.
  • Fundamental web‑browser skills: entering URLs, bookmarking pages, using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing online forms.
  • Intermediate typing speed of at least 25 words per minute with reasonable accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of pharmacy‑related experience in a retail or call‑center environment.
  • Experience with state‑licensed pharmacy technician certification or a comparable credential.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high‑quality customer service to both inbound and outbound callers, meeting established service‑level agreements.
  • Advanced typing speed of 35 WPM or higher, with the ability to type from memory and generate reports efficiently.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, enabling you to serve a diverse patient population.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy terminology, including SIG codes and prescription refill processes.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Attention to Detail: Precise data entry and error‑free documentation are critical to patient safety.
  • Customer Empathy: Ability to listen actively, understand patient concerns, and provide reassuring, solution‑focused responses.
  • Problem‑Solving: Quickly identify missing information, troubleshoot data discrepancies, and resolve issues without escalation whenever possible.
  • Time Management: Efficiently handle high call volumes while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
  • Technical Agility: Comfort with multiple software platforms, including CRM, pharmacy management systems, and secure communication tools.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of HIPAA, state pharmacy regulations, and arenaflex’s internal compliance policies.

  • Structured onboarding and certification programs that pave the way for advancement to senior specialist, team lead, or supervisory roles.

  • Eligibility for internal mobility programs, allowing you to transition to in‑store pharmacy positions, remote health‑coach roles, or corporate support functions.
