Associate Data Analyst

SUMMARY This position is responsible for performing basic data analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation to support business and technical initiatives. The ideal candidate will work under supervision, applying analytical skills and using data tools to deliver meaningful insights. This role also involves supporting Agile team activities and promoting continuous improvement. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Perform requirements gathering and documentation using provided templates, with guidance from senior team members. Conduct basic data analysis and data profiling to assess data quality and derive insights. Query data from primary and secondary data sources using SQL. Interpret data and analyze results under direction to support larger initiatives. Facilitate Agile ceremonies as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure data integrity and usability. Maintain accurate and well-organized documentation for analysis and reporting. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in a relevant field (e.g., data technology, information systems, computer science). Basic understanding of data analysis concepts and techniques. Basic working knowledge with SQL for data querying. Basic working knowledge of DBMSs (On-Prem, Cloud). Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and communication skills. Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks with supervision. Working with data in an insurance environment is preferred. PAY RANGE PAY RANGE: “Actual compensation decision relies on the consideration of internal equity, candidate’s skills and professional experience, geographic location, market and other potential factors.
