Remote Medical Transcriptionist / Medical Scribe

Job Summary

• The Elite Job is seeking a detail-oriented and highly dependable Remote Medical Transcriptionist / Medical Scribe to join our fast-growing virtual healthcare support team. You will work closely with physicians and healthcare providers to transcribe audio recordings into precise medical documentation and/or provide real-time scribing support during virtual consultations. • Key Responsibilities
• * Transcribe voice-recorded medical reports and convert them into written text with high accuracy.
• * Edit and review transcribed reports for grammatical and factual errors.
• * Listen carefully to dictation from healthcare providers and ensure correct usage of medical terminology.
• * Accurately document physician-patient interactions in real time as a virtual scribe during telemedicine sessions.
• * Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMRs) in compliance with HIPAA and other data protection standards.
• * Communicate with healthcare professionals to clarify ambiguities in dictation or documentation.
• * Meet strict turnaround time requirements without compromising quality.
• * Stay current with medical, pharmacological, and technological developments to enhance transcription quality.
• Required Skills and Qualifications
• * Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and medical terminology.
• * Exceptional listening skills and attention to detail.
• * Fast and accurate typing skills (at least 60 WPM preferred).
• * Proficiency with transcription software and EMR systems.
• * Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
• * Strong organizational and time management skills.
• * Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
• Experience
• * Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical transcription or scribing (required).
• * Familiarity with a range of medical specialties, including but not limited to cardiology, orthopedics, pediatrics, and internal medicine.
• * Experience working in remote/virtual environments is a plus.
• Working Hours
