Claims Technician - Claims Data Administration

About the position As a Claims Technician you’ll provide moderate to complex functional and operational support for the claims department. This position will be seated in Sentry's Stevens Point, WI - Division Street office location. What You’ll Do: As a Claims Technician, you'll handle many behind the scenes tasks to help move our team and the Claims Organization forward. This role will include supporting the Service of Process workflow and the Claims Tax Year End processes. Below are a few of the additional tasks you could be responsible for: Uploads, downloads, and conversions of digital media received for claim files. Processing of incoming claim payments and managing checks returned due to insufficient address. Troubleshoot potential tax reporting compliance issues or problems. Review and correct IRS reports listing data errors. Maintain compliance with Federal Internal Revenue Service rules and regulations. Provide clerical and administrative support to the claims staff. Develop knowledge of jurisdictional requirements and best practices within the department.
