As we continue to expand our remote workforce, we are looking for a visionary HR Business Partner to shape the future of our data entry teams and drive strategic talent initiatives across the organization.

Role Overview – Chief HR Business Partner (Remote)

The Chief HR Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as the strategic liaison between the HR function and the business units responsible for data entry, product development, and streaming services. Reporting to senior leadership, you will partner with executives to influence talent strategy, workforce planning, and organizational design while championing a culture of continuous learning and inclusive growth. This role is fully remote, offering flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States while collaborating with teams in Los Angeles, New York, and other key hubs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Business Partnering: Build and maintain a deep understanding of business objectives, providing consultative HR guidance that drives impact without direct authority.
  • Talent Management & Workforce Planning: Lead headcount forecasting, talent acquisition coordination, and succession planning in partnership with Talent Acquisition and Compensation teams.
  • Leadership Coaching & Development: Advise senior leaders on performance management, leadership effectiveness, change management, and career development pathways.
  • Learning & Development Design: Identify skill gaps, design learning experiences, and partner with Learning & Development specialists to deliver targeted programs that close capability gaps.
  • Data‑Driven HR Analytics: Analyze HR metrics and trends, translate insights into actionable recommendations, and present findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Integration: Collaborate with DEI councils and employee resource groups to embed inclusive practices into recruitment, onboarding, and talent development.
  • Organizational Design & Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to streamline HR processes, implement new policies, and drive efficiency across the data entry and product teams.
  • Employee Engagement & Retention: Design and execute engagement surveys, pulse checks, and retention strategies that enhance employee satisfaction and reduce turnover.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Legal, and Operations to ensure alignment on workforce initiatives and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Change Management Leadership: Guide teams through organizational transformations, ensuring clear communication, stakeholder buy‑in, and smooth transitions.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a technology‑focused organization handling software development or product teams.
  • Proven track record of partnering with senior leaders in an “influence without authority” capacity.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and propose evidence‑based solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, capable of delivering concise, persuasive presentations to executive audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and drive outcomes in fast‑paced environments.
  • Experience leading DEI initiatives and fostering inclusive workplace cultures.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM‑CP, PHR) is a strong advantage.
  • Experience with large‑scale remote workforce management and virtual collaboration tools.
  • Background in talent acquisition, compensation design, or organizational development.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar) and advanced Excel/Power BI reporting.
  • Ability to think strategically while executing tactically, balancing long‑term vision with day‑to‑day operational needs.
  • Fluency in multiple languages or experience working with culturally diverse teams is a plus.

Core Competencies for Success

  • Strategic Insight: Ability to see the big picture, align HR initiatives with business goals, and anticipate future talent needs.
  • Influence & Collaboration: Skilled at building trust, fostering partnerships, and driving consensus across matrixed organizations.
  • Analytical Acumen: Proficiency in interpreting workforce data, creating dashboards, and translating metrics into actionable business recommendations.
  • Change Leadership: Comfortable leading transformation projects, managing resistance, and ensuring smooth adoption of new processes.
  • Emotional Intelligence: Strong empathy, active listening, and the ability to coach leaders through performance and development challenges.
  • Innovation Mindset: Willingness to challenge the status quo, propose creative solutions, and continuously improve HR practices.
