[Remote] Product Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CWA Merchant Services is a FinTech company focused on building innovative products. The Product Manager role involves defining product vision and strategy, leading product initiatives, and connecting business and technology teams to deliver user-first products.
Responsibilities
- Define product vision and strategy and own the roadmap for merchant reporting, insights, and data experiences, ensuring merchants can easily understand and act on their business performance
- Lead product initiatives through research, discovery, design, delivery, and deduction
- Translate complex data into meaningful insights and storytelling, enabling merchants to make confident, data-driven decisions
- Create intuitive dashboards, reporting workflows, and data visualizations that provide merchants with clarity on sales, operations, and customer behavior
- Develop success metrics that guide prioritization and measure the impact of reporting and data experiences
- Define, document, and review requirements with stakeholders and engineering
- Facilitate beta testing to recommend improvements to product prior to launch
- Communicate development status and go-to-market strategy
- Develop and write training content to ensure alignment of product knowledge internally and externally (sales)
- Define and analyze data driven metrics that inform success
- Champion the merchant and their customers to offer a stable, secure, and seamless payments experience
- Collect and prioritize feedback and requests from merchants, sales partners, and the organization
- Research and understand industry trends and the competitive landscape
Skills
- BA/BS in a quantitative or technical field
- 2+ years experience in product management in the financial services coupled with deep knowledge and passion for payments
- Ability to think like a small business owner
- Creative and strategic product thinker
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to identify user challenges and needs
- Ability to positively influence others and maintain effective business relationships
- Self-motivated with the ability to work through uncertainty
- Proven track record of building products from inception to execution
- Working knowledge of the agile development process
- Experience in business operations and reporting
- Experience in Payments software is strongly preferred
