[Remote] Systems Administrator - IV (REMOTE)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. VARITE is an award-winning minority business enterprise providing global consulting and staffing services. They are seeking a Systems Administrator - IV to develop, deploy, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines for middleware tasks.
Responsibilities
- Automation Engineer for Middleware/Application Server. Duties include develop, deploy, troubleshoot CICD pipelines used to automate common middleware tasks such as configuration management, server provisioning, application deployment, etc
Skills
- Hands-on experience in IBM WebSphere Application Server administration
- Strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, deployment, validation, and release processes across multiple environments
- Hands-on expertise in implementing automation solutions using Ansible, including playbook development, configuration management, server provisioning, deployment automation, middleware administration tasks, and operational support automation
- Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with automation tools to support continuous delivery, environment consistency and reduced manual intervention
- Proficient in troubleshooting pipeline failures, deployment issues, and automation-related problems in enterprise production environments
- Experience working with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar pipeline orchestration platforms alongside Ansible automation frameworks
- Strong knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Experience in middleware security and SSL Configurations
